We have bible classes for all ages!
We are simply Christians, working and serving God in the Jacksonville, Florida area.
Conveniently, centrally located, we are within 30 minutes of most areas of Jacksonville.
The Bible
We view the Bible as our single source of truth. It reveals the will of God to us and provides the only way in which man can live with Him eternally in heaven.
When you visit with us, you will notice the emphasis placed upon the study of the Bible. It is through these scriptures that we learn more about Jesus and His will for our lives.
We Love to praise our Lord and God. Our worship is designed to first be pleasing to God and second encouraging to all who attend.
Singing: The Bible teaches us that God loves to be worshiped in song and so that is what we do. We encourage everyone to join in and sing out, regardless of their talent. You will notice that we do not use musical instruments in our worship because the scriptures teach us to “sing with our hearts” (Ephesians 5:19 and Colossians 3:19). Hearing the voices of all participants singing praises edifys the whole assembly.
Prayer: We are a praying people. Our worship to God includes praying at several different times during the service. Leaders will direct our minds to pray for the sick, to thank God for our blessings, and to encourage our brothers and sisters.
Lord’s Supper: As Christians, we are instructed to begin each week focused upon the death of Jesus Christ (1 Corinthians 11:23-26; Acts 20:7). We take time each Sunday to remember His sacrifice on the cross for the benefit of all sinners. It was through Jesus’ death that we might have a relationship with God. The elements of unleavened bread and grape juice are provided for any who wish to participate.
Preaching: Each Sunday, brother Russ Roberts brings a lesson from God’s word. The gospel message is easy to understand encouaging the faithful to grow in love for God and for each other.
Contribution: To do the work that God has given the local church to do, we take up a free will contribution from our members at the church building each Sunday. This is only expected by our members. As a guest to our services, we encourage you to bring your Bible, sing along and pray with us, but we do not ask for your money.
